Years ago, I picked up my first SLR camera and was amazed at how fun it was to shoot with. I started out with a Canon AE-1 film camera and fell in love with capturing photos. My dad had used the camera when we were kids but had put it down for a while. I loaded some film and began snapping away.
I started out shooting all types of subjects and landscapes. When I picked up a book by Scott Kelby I was intrigued by studio lighting. Soon I had some equipment and began shooting in my house. I love studio work because I can take light and make it transform a subject. I also enjoy landscapes and look forward to traveling so I can add to my portfolio.
In 2015 I moved to the Sony ILCE or mirrorless technology and I'm loving it. It's versatile, lightweight, and cutting edge technology.
Volunteer work is a passion of mine as of late. I enjoy photographing puppies to be adopted out of our local dog rescue Austin Dog Rescue. Please check out this wonderful organization.
Please enjoy my landscape and other imagery on my site.
